It’s been a while! I hope you’re all doing well and flourishing. March and April have been so busy I haven’t had a chance to sit down, collect my thoughts, and write a blog post. That being said, I thought I’d update y’all with what I’ve been up to since I’ve been MIA. Grab a nice hot cuppa and get ready for a chit chat with your girl.
Since landing my dream job as an RMT, I’ve been lucky enough to have multiple people and organizations reach out to me about job opportunities to further my career. These past two months I’ve taken action, grasped these opportunities and have not only landed myself a second practicing location, I have an interview coming up for a location that focuses on exactly what I want to do as an RMT- prenatal, infant, and postpartum massage!
I got a car!!!
On April 6th 2019 I bought my very first car. This is such a huge accomplishment for me because at one point in my life, I didn’t believe that I would ever even get my drivers license let alone a car that is my own.
Ever since I got my drivers license I had been saying that I want my first car to be an older Ford Focus, because for some weird reason I just love them so much. I got so lucky, and was able to buy a 2006 Ford Focus (hatchback) that is in such great condition you wouldn’t believe that it’s as old as it is!
I’m really excited to share my knowledge on the experience of buy a first car- stay tuned for a blog post of all my car shopping tips and tricks!
I was recently chosen for the VDL VoxBox by Influenster a few weeks ago and was under the impression that I would be receiving their best selling foundation Perfect-Lasting Foundation. Come to my surprise when I received the VoxBox in the mail and opened it to reveal that I had received eleven full sized products, everything that I need to do a full glam makeup look.
I’m currently still testing out all the products in order to give y’all a full in-depth review, so be on the look out for that in the next coming weeks!
Finished The Fiery Cross
I finally finished the fifth instalment in the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon after starting to read it in February. This book took me a little longer to get through because I wasn’t reading it as frequently as I did with the other instalments of the series, although I don’t know why- I was extremely impressed with The Fiery Cross.
I haven’t written very many book reviews, mainly because I always worry that I’ll give away too much of the plot but I’m very excited to be able to put aside my worries and do a review on this amazing book for you guys! Stay tuned!
One Year of Blogging!
I can not believe that it’s officially been one year of blogging. It feels like I just started this little space on the interweb only yesterday. I am so thankful that I have this platform to be able to express myself however I choose, and for the opportunity it creates to meet so many like minded individuals. Not to mention the blogging community is so supportive, kind, and great to be apart of.
Whats in Store
I’m in planning mode! Sometimes juggling the blog, my career, my lifestyle, and social life is a tad-bit overwhelming to say the least, but to calm the crazy I try to plan ahead.
I have so many blog posts waiting to be written, so my plan is to write a few while I’m feeling motivated and schedule them for the upcoming weeks. I would never promise or commit to a blogging schedule just because I’m human and things happen and I wouldn’t want to let y’all down if I couldn’t uphold to it. BUT my goal is to be able to schedule some posts so you’ll see content from me at least once a week.
I hope you didn’t miss me too much- don’t worry, I won’t be absent from the blog for that long again!
What did I miss while I was gone?! Let me know in the comment section down below!
